Iwan Streichenberger is a global senior executive with proven success in large multinationals as well as earlier stage companies. Iwan was the CEO of inBloom, Inc., an organization working to make personalized learning a reality for every U.S. student. inBloom developed technology services that allow states and public school districts to better integrate student data and learning applications to support sustainable, cost-effective personalized learning. inBloom was funded with initial philanthropic support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Iwan was previously the President of the LRSA division of Promethean, a worldwide leader in interactive whiteboards and innovative technologies, after having been its Global Chief Marketing Officer. Iwan has spent thirteen years in executive positions in Digital Media and Technology, Entertainment, Education, Publishing and Consumer Goods. He managed Houghton Mifflin’s global strategy and M&A activity, reporting to the CEO. He was also the President of Edusoft, which he grew from a small regional player to a nationwide leader in Education Technology.

Iwan joined Houghton Mifflin in 2001 when Vivendi Universal acquired the $1.5 billion publisher. At the time, Iwan the COO of Vivendi’s European online gaming portal, Flipside. Earlier in this career, Iwan worked for Bain and Company, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in France as well as for L'Oreal in South Africa where he worked very closely with the General Manager to fully restructure and turn around this subsidiary.
